Individual and Couple Counselling & Psychotherapy for Northallerton, Brompton, Thirsk, Richmond, Catterick, Catterick Garrison, Colburn, Leeming, Bedale, Darlington and Stockton-on-Tees

I completed a three year training in Integrative Counselling as well as the Introductory Course in Group Analysis at The Institute of Group Analysis (London) and have attended the Working with Couples Series at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (London) and Nature Based Therapy (London). More recently I have completed Wild Therapy training in Lancashire and Bristol. I have been an Accredited Member of BACP since 2008 and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

As well as working privately as a counsellor & psychotherapist since 2008, I have experience of working in the following areas:

  • A long term Community Counselling Service in Bromley, Kent
  • Alcohol Counselling Service in Croydon, Surrey
  • Local GP Surgeries
  • EAP counselling for several EAP providers

    My background is in general nursing, midwifery and complementary therapies as well as some years spent working in the commercial environment in the City of London and abroad.

    I am deeply committed to this work and endeavour to understand and be with my clients in a greater capacity through continued professional and personal development.
